RECORD BREAKING YEAR FOR SUBSEA CABLE SPECIALISTS’ ENGINEERING & CONSULTING DIVISIONS
Engineering Technology Applications Ltd. (ETA) celebrates 20 years in business this year following a record breaking 2015. The Consultancy Division in particular has seen continued expansion with installation and research projects for the power interconnector, renewables and telecom cable sectors; this only a year after being awarded the Queens Award for International Trade.
Whilst ETA’s new, recently announced Connector and Jointing Division has seen a steady influx of projects in the Tidal Energy sector over the past months, the Engineering Division at ETA has delivered three new bespoke burial systems, deck layouts and deck equipment, with much more in the pipeline for 2016. ETA’s consultancy teams have also grown throughout 2015, expanding their Project Engineering teams and including additional GIS capabilities.
ETA’s advice, support and equipment have proved invaluable on a wide spectrum of cable projects, with ETA providing project management and consultancy to the installation of the Nordbalt Interconnector, power cables and connectors at the FORCE site in the Bay of Fundy, routing support to the extension of the Walney Windfarm and personnel to the installation of the Gemini Windfarm.
ETA Engineering Director, Jon Foreman, commented, “We’re all absolutely delighted with the way business has grown. Our strategy of putting the customer first and delivering on-time, high quality, cost-effective projects is winning through.”
