ETA provides project engineering services to client projects globally. In many cases a project engineer is provided to work as part of the client team at key stages of the project. Alternatively we perform specified assignments on an ‘as required’ basis.

ETA’s Design Engineering team can bring skills and knowledge acquired on wide ranging design projects around the world, as well as from designing ETA’s own range of subsea equipment, to address your own bespoke requirements.

A ‘desk top’ or FEED study is an extremely effective and often essential tool to focus early planning and engineering of any marine project. ETA has experience in every stage of project development from site identification and cable route planning through installation and service to decommissioning.

ETA’s vessel layout skills and experience are considerable. Designing vessel spreads for a range of purposes ETA can provide all necessary services including design, layouts, equipment design and modification, class approval, and the engineers required to mobilise the spread.

ETA can provide detailed build specifications for all aspects of cable handling, testing and jointing areas including control as well as build inspection and audits, drawing reviews, trials management, and procedures. ETA have worked for many of the new entrants to the cableship market, including vessel operators, shipyards and naval architects.

ETA provide a range of modular training courses focusing on cable engineering. Courses may be provided at client or ETA premises.
