The accessories designed and supplied by ETA include pulling heads, hang offs and beach clamps, typically these ensure that the mechanical loads expected from handling or during the
service life are borne by the armour wire. ETA also has a great deal of expertise in the design and supply of MV connection systems for subsea cables; especially in the Tidal Market.
Alongside this, ETA are able to supply unique cable termination and abandonment systems. Below you fill find examples of some of our previous work.

Pulling Heads and Terminations – FORCE termination
An abandonment termination for multiple cable ends for a tidal test site including bend restrictors. Designed for 4 years abandonment on the seabed. A universal mechanical termination for device developers. Extended length of termination body to allow for additional cable providing future flexibility for device developers and to house monitoring instrumentation.
Cable Connectors – TEL connector
A dry mate cable connection system for a prototype tidal generation device. Including proven subsea connectors for six off 3 phase power cores and a 24 fibre bundle. Fitting to on-board cables and to export cable end. Designed for fast connection/disconnection offshore. Separate temporary protection system for when export cable end not connected
Cable Containment Assembly
A system of fully adjustable racks used to provide support for the cable cores between the J-tubes and cable terminations on the OSS of the Thanet Offshore Wind Farm.
