ETA Celebrates 20 Years of Success

ETA Directors and Staff are celebrating the landmark achievement of 20 years of operations in the submarine cable industry.

ETA was established on 31st October 1996 to provide specialist expertise and products to the developing submarine cable market around the globe. ETA quickly gained recognition for their independent, knowledgeable, and practical approach; an approach they have maintained over 20 years of growth and success. ETA’s commitment to providing the best support to their clients led to them winning the Queen’s Award for International Trade in 2014.

Tens of thousands of kilometres of subsea telecoms, HVAC and HVDC cable have seen the influence of ETA products, advice and support over the years. ETA are proud to have contributed to a number landmark projects including IMEWE, the EWIP and Nordbalt interconnectors, the test sites at FORCE and EMEC, and the Cape Sharp Tidal Array project.

ETA Director Jon Foreman says, “This is a major milestone but building a successful business relies on the support of many people. The Directors would like to thank our families, past and current employees and contractors for their effort and support; and all our customers who have placed their faith in us over the years.”
